baby bones

Darling internet :)

I suppose I should explain myself and the intention behind this little project. Well - I work, go to school, and produce a lot of stuff for local art events. So between all of that I often forget to make time for my own art and I find myself cycling through the same junk I was doing years ago. And I mean - Everyone has their own propensity to draw this subject matter or use that medium, and ideally all those little artistic dispositions add up to their own steez. But that's no excuse to be lazy or afraid to try new things, which I have been.

I'm pretty sure I've produced similar bitchings in my other blogs, so at risk of getting into some serious broken record shit, I'm gonna stop there... here are the past 4 days and some English notes.

A friend of mine once told me that all artists have beautiful penmanship. I don't know where they got that idea from. Oh look! cute doggy.

I hope you like school notes because there are going to be a lot of them in my sketchbookwork.

Will have some more scans tomorrow or the day after.

  1. Beautiful beautiful beautiful <3 Will you keep us updated on the art events you're a part of? Or even better, post teh art! (Even though I'm from, like, the other side of the world, I just thought maybe, if I were to drop in magically on Vancouver I'd like to see your stuff... in person. Hell yeah!)

I like it too when you post other things besides art. But the text is too faint to read. D: Do a painting of that dog! LOL

Bunny girl in the first picture = looks like you.

  2. @xinleh

Honestly I'm so bad at staying on top of things (that's she said) that weekly-ish sketch updates are all you can really expect from me at this point, but who knows. I'll try but I don't promise anything.

And whatever I wrote was probably jibberish anyway so it wouldn't matter if it was legible or not ;)

  3. This page-a-day buisness is a really good idea. I find I have a similar problem myself, I should get on the bandwagon here.

Your handwriting looks almost exactly mine. Studio notes interspersed with cute animal doodles.
