School's out! Which means my schedule is free of homework!!!! .... And full of tattoo/art gallery stuff. No rest for the wick, I say.

There is a tonne of stuff I am still needing to scan (And I am getting my own scanner this weekend. Stoked? Stoked.) But for now, please accept my meager offer to the lords of updates.

So I'm changing the rules a bit.
I sketchbook page a day, or, one art-piece a day.
I can't always do both. I mean, I started this project with the intention of trying to sustain my 'artistic voice' while I do my studies. Nowadays it seems more of a hindrance than a creative exercise, especially when I am going on a handful of hours of sleep and projects are due and people want their tattoos drawn and so on and soforth. I feel like I am pussying out a bit, but at this point I really need the rest.

Here is Feb 4th-march 20th. A lot of these are tiny post-it sized paintings/drawings for a post-it themed show in Barcelona. I shall scan more shit tomorrow.

I need cuddles, food, sleep, sunshine. And am not getting enough of any of these things :( END OF SEMESTER. COMING VERY SOON.


Okay I'll start with the really good stuff.
THIS GUY is made out of sculpey and I must say I'm quite proud of him. Me. For making him. His full glory is best experienced in the IRL but pixels will have to do for now.

is this desire enough enough

First batch skbook update. Dec 17th thru to feb 4th.

Fell a bit behind due to midterms and getting sick.
I still have sommore skbook pages to show ewe but I'm so tired I had trouble keeping my eyes open while I was scanning.

So what's new. I am on "spring break" which means I've been prescribed an obscene amount of homework since I obvs have nothing better to do otherthan write exhibition reviews about modernist African artifacty photo-graphy mumbo jumbo. I bought a buncha film which I hopefully dont fukkup.

I'm making an honest effort to expand my repertoire re:subject matter, technique and general approach to everything but it's difficult when there's barely enough time to stretch my artistic legs via sketchbooking. I therefore have no time atall to put newly acquired skillz into practice, which is frusterating as fuck but oh well. I could blame school but I know better :)

But I'm getting a bit fatigued with drawing bunnyrabbits skulls and deers, and I'm bored to shit with squid and most cephalopods.

I'm totes obsessed with snails these days idk why.
